Kevin O’Brien ’89, art
Kevin O'Brien is living out his dream. In 2001, he left art education and coaching to pursue his love of wildlife painting. Today, he’s opened the Wyold Aspen Gallery in Saratoga, Wyo., which features his own work and that of eight other artists. A protégé of North Central art professor Barry Skurkis (at left, above), O’Brien continues to use his art education as a popular artist-in-residence at elementary schools. “When people ask me what I do, I light up and say, ‘I’m an artist.’”
