Will has already made a big impression on Chicago theatre audiences. Before graduating with his degree in theatre performance, Will was cast as Scripps in the critically acclaimed drama “The History Boys,” appearing in six shows a week. The TimeLine Theatre production was sold out for 25 weeks and then swept the Equity Jeff Awards in October 2009. Since then, Will has worked on “A Separate Peace” at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre and with productions at  Chicago Children’s Theatre and Victory Gardens Theatre. While still at North Central, Will was cast as Claudio in “Much Ado About Nothing” at First Folio Theatre in Oakbrook, IL. On campus, he performed in “The Laramie Project,” “She Loves Me,” “Twelfth Night” and “West Side Story,” among many others.

Cora "Katie" Clark '08
Katie found that studying technical theatre near Chicago paid big benefits for her future career. By the time she graduated in June 2008, she had completed two stage management internships with the highly esteemed stage management team at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago. The day after graduation, she headed for Door County, WI, to work for the well-known Peninsula Players Theatre. From there, she’s worked on stage-managing for Thirteen Pocket Theatre Company in Chicago, First Folio Theatre and Drury Lane in Oakbrook, IL, Music by the Lake in Lake Geneva, WI, North Carolina’s Shakespeare Festival and with a small theatre in the Naperville area. As a senior at North Central, she was named the College’s Outstanding Theatre Major for 2008.

A musical theatre major, Lauren could be seen in many North Central productions during the academic year and summer months. She entertained audiences as Maria in “West Side Story” and as Hodel in “Fiddler on the Roof,” among many other roles. Now television viewers have also seen her talents, because she landed two commercials within months of graduating in from North Central.
