Student Research Conference Opportunities
2012 - 2013
North Central College undergraduate students have the opportunity to present their research findings in a variety of local, regional, and national student conferences. Students are encouraged to work closely with their faculty advisor to develop and submit an independent research project. Students may apply for funding through the Student Conference Travel Program.
Rall Symposium - This conference invites all North Central College students to share scholarly work with others at North Central as well as the community at large.

National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) - This conference invites undergraduate students from across the country to present their research results through oral reports or poster demonstrations. Artists present their work through exhibitions or performances.

With 37 student presenters, North Central College once again led all Illinois
colleges and universities with the number of accepted projects to the
National Conference on Undergraduate Research, the leading conference
on undergraduate research in the United States.
Honors Council of the Illinois Region (HCIR) - This Conference invites NCC honors students to submit scholarly work and is an excellent opportunity to meet students from other Illinois institutions.
