The Office of International Programs administers funding for faculty development activities with an international focus, in the following areas:
- Faculty participation in the International Travel Seminar
- Faculty supervisors for group Richter projects abroad
- Teaching of short-term course in an international setting
There are teaching opportunities for faculty to accompany NCC students on the Fall Term programs in China/Japan and Costa Rica. Following is information regarding these programs as well as applications. Please submit the completed application to the Office of International Programs by the Friday of week 8, winter term.

Faculty Opportunities Abroad
Nancy Keiser, a North Central College professor of Education, and Jack Shindler, a professor of English and Director of International Programs at NCC, test the ancient echo effects at the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, near the Forbidden City. Eleven students and three professors from the Naperville school, along with 20 area elementary through high school teachers, traveled to China as part of the Crossing Borders, Connecting Cultures program.
