Program Evaluation Meeting
Let's talk about it!
Unlike the meme to the right, we are excited to hear about students experiences abroad and their evaluation of their programs -- both the good and the bad!
As part of the GLS 277 course, and in order to receive their grades, returnees are required to attend their programs mandatory evaluation meeting to review both positive feedback and suggestions for improvement for our study abroad programs. We will also go over the process and paperwork for transferring students credits/grades from abroad, back to North Central.
Unless a student was the only North Central College student who participated in their program, students will attend their evaluation meeting as a group with other students from their respective program.
Student attendance is required. You will see below that all meetings have been scheduled during community time, so class schedules should not be a problem, and students should adjust all other commitments to be there. As a reminder, your program evaluation meeting, together with your written program evaluation, is mandatory in order for your grades/credits from abroad to be entered on your North Central College transcripts.
Program evaluation dates and information for all returnees are listed below:
All evaluations listed below will be meeting in the Abe House conference room
January 7: NCC-in-Costa Rica, 12:15-1:45pm
January 12: NCC-in-England (Canterbury), 12:15-1:45pm
January 19: UPO in Sevilla (Spain), 12:00-1:00pm
University of Glasgow (Scotland), 1:00-2:00pm
January 21: University of Sunderland (England), 12:00-1:00pm
University of Limerick (Ireland), 1:00-2:00pm
All program evaluation meetings will be held at the Office of International Programs in Abe House, 48 E. Jefferson Avenue.
If you do not see your program listed in the dates above, it is because a small number North Central College students participated in your study abroad program.
As soon as we have received your official transcript from the host institution, you will soon receive an email from Kimberly Larsson, Whitney Ewing, or Rebecca Pugh to schedule your program evaluation meeting indvidually.
