Sunderland is a nice and quiet town. There is a nice mix of modern with the evidence of the history behind the area. The program takes time and dedication, but it is a wonderful experience that makes it worth the time that you put into it. It takes time to adjust to the culture and learn where to go for help, but once you're comfortable with the area and the knowing who to call, everything is wonderful. For students that want to travel while studying, Edinburgh and the south of England make for wonderful weekend trips. Europe is close enough for short trips as well. This has been a wonderful adventure, an opportunity that you wouldn't want to miss.
