AP credit is granted in the appropriate department and/or for a particular course if you receive a score of 4 or 5 for the tests listed. Scores of 3 are evaluated individually as described below. No credit is granted for scores below 3. AP tests must be taken prior to attending college. Subgrades are not accepted. All NCC Equivalents are worth 3 credit hours unless otherwise noted.

Chemistry	3		Placement in CHM 205 or 210. 7.00 hours for CHM 142 and chemistry elective if student earns a B- or higher in CHM 205 or 210.
Computer Science A	4 or 5	CSC 160 (3.50)
Computer Science A	3		Score of 3 results in waiving CSC 160 as a prerequisite for subsequent courses. Credit for CSC 160 is granted if a B- or higher is subsequently received in CSC 161 taken at NCC.

Computer Science AB	3		Score of 3 results in waiving CSC 160 & CSC 161 as prerequisites for subsequent courses. Credit for CSC 160 & 161 is granted if a B- or higher is subsequently received in CSC 210 taken at NCC.
Economics (Microeconomics)	3, 4 or 5	ECN 250	If both the Micro and Macro tests were taken, a student may have 3 credit hours for each test if the scores were 3, 4 or 5. 3 hours of social science.

If a grade of B- or higher is earned, then MTH 130 may be replaced with MTH 151 and 152. Fulfills mathematics requirement.

Mathematics BC	4	MTH 151 MTH 152	Student may enroll in MTH 254. If he/she successfully completes MTH 254 with a B- or higher, he/she will receive 3 additional credit hours for MTH 153. Fulfills mathematics requirement.
Mathematics BC	3	MTH 130	If student enrolls in MTH 152 and earns a B- or higher may replace credit with MTH 151 OR student may enroll in MTH 153 (with the permission of the department). If a grade of B- or higher is earned, then MTH 130 may be replaced with MTH 151 and 152. Fulfills mathematics requirement.
