Summer Undergraduate Students

If you want to take advantage of your summer break, consider taking courses offered during summer term at North Central College. You can transfer credit earned back to your home institution, saving you money and lightening your course load.

New summer-only students
Apply and register for the summer term at the Office of Graduate and Continuing Education Admission during business hours, by appointment or by mail. To apply and register, complete the Continuing Education Application Form.

Using the Search for Sections on Merlin, identify the summer term course(s) you want to take.  Then either mail or fax the continuing education application form to the address listed on the form. Admission will be granted when all paperwork is completed and submitted with the $25 nonrefundable application fee. If the course(s) you're registering for has prerequisites, you will be required to submit a copy of your transcript to show that you meet these prerequisites. Registration is not complete until all tuition and fees are paid. Summer 2012 undergraduate tuition is $578 per credit hour. Courses range from 2-4 credit hours, and the number of credit hours for specific courses can be found on Merlin.

Returning summer-only students
Register in person at the Office of Graduate and Continuing Education Admission during business hours or by appointment. Use the Search for Sections on Merlin to identify the summer term course(s) you want to take.  If the course(s) you're registering for has prerequisites, you will be required to submit a copy of your transcript to show that you meet these prerequisites.
