As a veteran, you're entitled to use your chapter benefits in accordance with the rules of the Veterans Benefits Administration. It is best to confirm your eligibility to receive education benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs first, then begin the admission process. When you initially contact the Admission Office, tell them that you are a veteran. Students must be admitted to North Central College to be considered for financial aid and veterans benefits. Steps and links are provided below. If you have any questions, call the Admission Office at 630-637-5800 for assistance. An admission counselor will be happy to help you with any step.
- Confirm Veterans Benefits eligibility with the Department of Veterans Affairs
- Complete the appropriate North Central College application for undergraduate admission, graduate admission, a second bachelor’s degree or teaching certification, or non-degree options. Go to http://northcentralcollege.edu/admission for more information about above options, including which supplemental information is required for each application.
- Provide the supplemental information required of your admission application as indicated in above link. All required transcripts and tests scores must be official.
- For full financial aid consideration, complete or update the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA - www.fafsa.ed.gov) to determine your eligibility for other federal, state, or institutional financial assistance (use college code 001734).
North Central College admission staff review applications on a rolling basis. Once we have a complete file for admission, you will hear from your admission counselor within two weeks.
