As a veteran, you're entitled to use your chapter benefits in accordance with the rules of the Veterans Benefits Administration. It is best to confirm your eligibility to receive education benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs first, then begin the admission process. When you initially contact the Admission Office, tell them that you are a veteran. Students must be admitted to North Central College to be considered for financial aid and veterans benefits. - Confirm Veterans Benefits eligibility with the Department of Veterans Affairs
- Complete the appropriate North Central College application for undergraduate (freshman or transfer), graduate admission, or teacher certification (continuing education).
- Supply official high school transcripts, college/university transcripts, and test scores and other required information based on your program of study.
- For full financial aid consideration, complete or update the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA - www.fafsa.ed.gov) to determine your eligibility for other federal, state and institutional financial assistance (use college code 001734).
North Central College admission staff review applications on a rolling basis. Once we have a complete file for admission, you will hear from your admission counselor within two to three weeks.
