A lot has changed these past few weeks. For one, I'm living in Naper Place now (evidenced by the pictures), and it's a pretty cool guy. I cannot describe how nice it is to have the luxury of being able to cook, especially when you're able to have a party. I also have my own bedroom and TWO windows! Natural light! The glorious natural light and the wonderful benefit to my psychology!
Also, I got an Alumitone pickup for my ESP (and I'll probably replace the licensed Floyd with an original one soon). The things sounds great, and considering how much I paid for it, I really can't ask for any more (I mean, besides the whole Floyd thing).
I also got to see/meet Textures and The Contortionist (and The Human Abstract and Periphery, but they're less important). Arguably the best concert I've been to, what with the getting to meet these bands that I worship and talking awkwardly with then because I'm too struck by the fact that I'm actually talking to these people. I got a copy of Textures' setlist (one of the ones they had on stage) and Textures and The Contortionist both signed things for me. I hope Textures comes back to the States soon, and I hope the Contortionist writes more and also comes back soon.
I feel like I had more to say. I'm working 17 hours/week as opposed to 25 now. I changed a lot of my schedule after Week 2. The fact that I made all this work proves that I'm some sort of magical being. Perhaps a magical human...
