Well hey there!
I hope everyone had a marvelous Easter weekend last weekend. I know I did. This past weekend, there was soooo much going on on campus! I had a meet on Friday, which went really well! I ran a personal best in the steeple chase! For those of you who don't know what a steeple chase is, it's the race where a bunch of really skinny people hurdle barriers two lanes wide and jump over a pit of water during the race multiple times. I have included a picture of me during my race, jumping over the water pit (Photo credit: Mr. Klein). Then, when I got back to campus, I wanted to go see Kevin Andrew Prchal at The Union, but I only had time to shower and eat before I had to head over to Relay for Life, which, by the way, was a TON of fun! On Saturday, I went to Madden Theatre to see Phedre, a Greek tragedy that was performed marvelously by students at North Central, my girlfriend playing the beautiful Ponope. After the show, my friend and fellow RA, Josh, proposed to his lovely girlfriend, Ali (who played the lead role as Phedre). It was a very heartwarming evening! Congrats to them and to the cast of Phedre. A very big congrats goes out to the school record breaking 4x400 team that ran at Drake relays this past weekend along with every other NCC runner who ran this weekend!
