...and I didn't even go to or play very many concerts!

I did, though, record, produce, and release a few things (I've come tor ealize that as a recording artist/producer, I accelerate the process quite a bit. It's pretty insane that I started recording these things in May and a week from today, all three will have been released). There's Pray Macabre's new EP (I co-produced it and I've been drumming with them for a little while now); my solo project (hopefully soon-to-be-solo-no-more-project) Dead on Both Shoulders' new EP; and the new ESM record will be coming out in a week (you guessed it, another bandcamp: http://esmmusic.bandcamp.com).

I'm super-psyched for ESM. It's heavy, it's stupid, it's intense. I doubt anyone who reads this blog will like it, but that's already the case with most of the music I listen to and put out anyway. No big deal.

In other news, I also hosted one of the SLI participants, Kazuto Yamauchi, for the homestay part of NCC's SLI program. That was really fun; the third time I've hosted a Japanese student. We went to Baha'i, played mini-golf, spent some time in the city, and there was a good deal of music had as well.

I also had a birthday and spent the money I got from in on a guitar. A real pretty one (see pic, it's an ESP LTD MH-103).

Fun stuff. I move in in a week (whoa, the same day ESM drops. It's like a welcome back present!)
