It has been a long time since my last attendance in Model UN. I felt somewhat fresh when I went to Model UN debate on Tuesday night. It was the first meeting I went after arriving Bristol for about 4 months. The topic we had is Iran nuclear weapon. I represent North Korea. Debating itself for me is not so much fun; but in the international relations setting, it can be quite fun. Next week, I got one opportunity to attend LIMUN (London International Model UN). That will be great fun!
North Central has a great Model UN team too, although I did not make it last year.
Pictures of Model UN conference in Shanghai during 2008 summer come to my mind. I represented Germany; and I might not speak fluent English at that time.
Through participating in Model UN, I find interest in international relations and build a broader view on people as well as the world. I guess I would join the MUN team after finishing study abroad and back to NCC.
