A College on the Move

North Central gains momentum in growth, reputation, value.

Growth in new faculty, world-class facilities, outstanding academics and stellar athletic teams---these are the hallmarks of a campus community that is fiscally strong, excited about the future and focused on becoming one of America’s top colleges.

“Our students and their families become part of a dynamic campus environment, where they benefit from the value of small class sizes, faculty mentors and award-winning cocurricular activities,” said Martin Sauer, vice president for enrollment and athletics.

Eva Shinikova

When it came to choosing a career, Eva knew exactly where she belonged. In high school, Eva’s love of mathematics grew to include economics and finance. Combining these interests with an enthusiasm for solving real-world problems made a triple major in actuarial science, economics and finance a perfect fit.

Eva is already benefitting from her experience in these majors. At the College’s annual Fall Interview Day, Eva interviewed with her current employer.

“Fall Interview Day is an opportunity for actuarial candidates to meet with prospective employers and interview for internships and full-time positions. This led to me doing what I love for a living!”

Eva also feels that she has benefitted from North Central’s helpful faculty.

“In my four years of being a part of this community, I’ve witnessed many occasions when faculty have gone above and beyond in order to make sure students perform their best.”

“What sets North Central College apart is a focus on making the student truly central.”
