Over the winter months, new LED lights were installed with the help of $26,000 in grant funding from the Illinois Municipal Electric Agency through the City of Naperville toward the cost of the two projects. LED stands for Light Emitting Diode, a solid state form of lighting that converts electricity directly into light.
