Aiste Kairys

Aiste Kairys works full time in addition to attending North Central full time, but her busy schedule doesn’t stop her from making the most of what North Central has to offer. “You get chances here, so take them. They’ll work to your advantage.”

After completing high school in Lithuania, Aiste moved to the United States, earned a degree and began work in the accounting field. But Aiste has always been creative and she decided the graphic arts track of the interactive media studies major could foster her creative side. Although she commutes, Aiste is active on campus. She serves on a research committee that evaluates prospective faculty for interactive media studies and regularly contributes to the Viewfinder, an interactive media online magazine.

Aiste says she’s grateful for the experiences she’s having at North Central. “I didn’t think I’d fall in love with North Central the way I did,” Aiste says. “Everyone here is very inspiring. I’m 150 percent happy I chose to go here.”
