Moussetis, Cavenagh, Hanlon present paper on strategic business leadership

North Cental College faculty members—Robert Moussetis, associate professor of international business and chair of management and marketing/Bus; Thomas Cavenagh, Schneller Sisters Professor of Leadership, Ethics and Values, professor of business law and conflict resolution, director of leadership, ethics and values, and coordinator of master of leadership studies program; and Brian Hanlon, Coleman Foundation Professor of Entrepreneurship and assistant professor of marketing—presented an award-winning paper at international conference.  

College announces three new faculty recipients of endowed chairs

Diane Anstine holds new endowed chair in economics, Perry Hamalis holds new chair in religion, and Brian Hanlon is second chair holder in entrepreneurship.

June 24, 2011—North Central College recently named three new faculty recipients of endowed chairs. They are

•    Diane Anstine, Mary Schneller Rosar Professor of Economics
•    Perry Hamalis, Cecelia Schneller Mueller Professor of Religion
•    Brian Hanlon, Coleman Foundation Professor of Entrepreneurship

Hanlon is named to endowed chair in entrepreneurship

Brian Hanlon, assistant professor of marketing, was named the new holder of the Coleman Foundation Professor of Entrepreneurship endowed chair.

June 24, 2011—North Central College recently announced that Brian Hanlon, assistant professor of marketing, was named the new holder of the Coleman Foundation Professor of Entrepreneurship endowed chair. He succeeds retiring faculty member Gary Ernst, professor of international business and marketing, and first holder of the chair.

North Central’s American Marketing Association (AMA) chapter earns Honorable Mention at contest, finishing in the top 25 internationally.

Feb. 4, 2011—North Central’s collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) earned an Honorable Mention award in the Annual International Case Competition. For the third consecutive year, North Central’s chapter placed in the top 25 internationally.

The AMA Case Competition is a yearlong event that brings top marketing students together to work on a marketing challenge submitted by a sponsoring organization. This year’s sponsor is Nintendo.
