North Central College students make semifinals in American Marketing Association contest

A team of 22 North Central students created integrated marketing campaign for The Hershey Company, competing against 90 universities and finishing in top 16.

A team of 22 students in North Central College’s American Marketing Association (AMA) chapter made the top 16 as semifinalists in the AMA International Collegiate Case Competition. Students created an integrated marketing campaign for Hershey’s new Ice Breakers Cool Blasts Chews, competing against some 90 institutions, including schools like the University of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania State University and University of Iowa.

AMA achieves third in the nation, first time in school history

North Central College’s American Marketing Association (AMA) team tied for third overall in international Collegiate Case Competition.

North Central College’s American Marketing Association (AMA) team tied for third overall in the AMA Collegiate Case Competition—the first time in school history for a top finish. The team traveled to New Orleans in April to compete at AMA’s 36th Annual International Collegiate Conference against nine other finalist teams that had qualified from a field of 86 schools earlier this year.
