North Central College will host a free lecture titled “Immigration Reform in the Age of Criminalization” by Robert Koulish, Ph.D.—political scientist, author and professor—at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, in North Central’s Smith Hall at Old Main.

North Central College senior Jenna Slack presents research at national conference that supports using mediation to resolve immigration conflict, direct policy.

Senior Jenna Slack from Carol Stream, Ill., is among 45 students from North Central College whose research project was accepted for presentation at a leading national conference on undergraduate research.

Her research topic—using mediation to examine and resolve illegal migration issues—evolved after a study abroad experience her sophomore year led to subsequent volunteer work.
