North Central College features student actors in the drama “A Streetcar Named Desire” by American playwright Tennessee Williams Oct. 8-11.

Five performances of “A Streetcar Named Desire” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8-10 and at 2 p.m. Oct. 10 and 11 in Madden Theatre at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Award-winning author Isabel Wilkerson gives talk Feb. 29

North Central College welcomes Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and bestselling author Isabel Wilkerson to discuss her epic book “The Warmth of Other Suns.”

Author and journalist Isabel Wilkerson will discuss her book “The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America’s Great Migration” on Feb. 29 at North Central College. The New York Times and national bestseller follows the story of African-American families leaving the Jim Crow South during the Great Migration.

Wilkerson will speak at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, in North Central College’s theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall, 31 S. Ellsworth St., Naperville. This event is free and open to the public.
