Wolf, North Central College professor of German, is a member of the Society of American Baseball Research (SABR) and published the feature article, “No-hitters from unlikely pitchers,” on Sept. 13 in The Hardball Times, an Internet site focusing on the history of Major League Baseball and advanced sabermetric analysis.
