North Central College honors professor, family advocate Wayne Duehn by adding his name to the College’s Wall of Witness during Homecoming Convocation Oct. 26.

North Central College is honoring Wayne Duehn ’61, Ph.D., of Arlington, Texas, by adding his name to the College’s Wall of Witness.

Duehn and five others will be honored during the College’s Homecoming Convocation at 4:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at North Central College’s Wentz Concert Hall at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave., Naperville.

James Will named to North Central College’s Wall of Witness

North Central College is honoring James Will of Arlington Heights by adding his name to the College’s Wall of Witness.

This is the fifth of five weekly installments profiling individuals who will receive Alumni Awards & Recognition on Nov. 11 during North Central College’s Sesquicentennial Homecoming Celebration.

Oct. 7, 2010—North Central College will present four Outstanding Alumni Awards and a Wall of Witness Award during a Homecoming Weekend ceremony at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, in Wentz Concert Hall at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave.

The four Outstanding Alumni Award recipients are Katheryn M. Agne Dutenhaver, Richard L. Easterday, Richard Honer and Dane Scag. The Wall of Witness honoree is the Rev. Robert Harman.

Reverend Dr. Tallulah Fisher '74 Williams Added to Wall of Witness

The late Reverend Dr. Tallulah Fisher ’74 Williams became the third name added to the Wall of Witness in Kiekhofer Hall, which honors graduates of North Central College and/or Evangelical Theological Seminary for their lives of witness to their faith and service to humanity.

“Thank you, sister, for being such a dynamic role model,” said Renetta M. Butler ’84, (right), who accepted the award at Homecoming on behalf of her sister Tallulah. “Thank you for not holding your light under a bushel. You continue to influence me and women of all colors.”
