Check it out! The Oesterle Library homepage has a new look. The redesign has positioned content and links previously located on the lower part of the page to the top where users can see and better access information. “Nothing has been taken away in the redesign,” says Aimee Walker, the library’s coordinator of user experience and developer of the site’s new look.

You’ll want to check out the many fine and performing arts events on campus during the Christmas holiday season, and especially special ticket prices for faculty and staff for three events. The department of fine and performing arts is hosting Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night, offering free tickets to employees for the Dec. 10 concert featuring fiddler Natalie MacMaster. Tickets for Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol (photo) Dec. 10-13 are half price at $15/adults, and tickets for the adult comedy 500 Clown Christmas Dec. 18-19 and 21-23 are also half price at $15/adults.

North Central College will be represented by three football players and two coaches at the 2009 Tazon de Estrellas All-Star Game on Saturday, Dec. 19, in Monterrey, Mexico. Quarterback Aaron Fanthorpe ’10, offensive tackle Josh Delancy ’10 and defensive end Tim Janecek ’10 will each participate for Team Stars & Stripes in the game.
