Brian Hanlon, assistant professor of marketing, presented a paper titled “Emerging Trends in Teaching Entrepreneurship” at the Marketing Management Association Conference in Indianapolis Oct. 1. The presentation focused on a series of best practices related to entrepreneurship course materials, teaching social entrepreneurship, and how to best implement aspects of leadership, ethics and values into entrepreneurship courses. Hanlon was also quoted extensively in an Oct.

Associate professors of education Maureen Kincaid, Nancy Keiser and Kristine Servais were recognized at the American Institute of Higher Education’s 5th International Conference in Orlando, Fla., Sept. 29-Oct. 1, for presenting the conference’s top paper.

Titled “Up on the big stage,” the front-page story says “North Central College’s new performing arts season has quality and variety.”
