Men’s basketball team wins CCIW crown and more

On Saturday, Feb. 18, the North Central College men’s basketball team claimed its first outright College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Championship since 1990 with a 91-58 bludgeoning of Millikin University. The Cardinals (18-7, 12-2 CCIW) smothered Millikin with a furious first-half assault and set a single-game school record by making 15 three-pointers in securing the program's second straight conference title.

Women’s and men’s outdoor track & field win CCIW crowns

Winning seven events and tallying six provisional qualifiers, the women's track & field team secured the first triple crown in CCIW history, blowing away the competition at the Outdoor Championships at Augustana College May 6-7.

Cardinals clinch CCIW baseball crown, first since 1998

The Cardinals (31-7, 17-4 CCIW) posted their first shutout in five weeks and their fourth of the season, securing sole possession of the 2010 CCIW Championship May 9, shutting out Illinois Wesleyan, 4-0. North Central will host the CCIW tournament this weekend, May 13-15.
