Gerald Gems, professor of health and physical education, gave a presentation titled “Running with the Bulls: An Autoethnographic Account of Reliving the Past” at the North American Society for Sport History Convention in Orlando, Fla., on May 29. He also gave a presentation titled “Sport, Education, and American Manifest Destiny” at the International Society for the History of Physical Education and Sport in Netanya, Israel, on June 4.
