Wellness Fair open to all students, employees; Kaufman closed, lunch in Res/Rec

The Dyson Wellness Center invites all North Central College students, faculty and staff to its Wild World of Wellness Fair, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, at the Res/Rec Center. Dyson has partnered with the College’s Human Resources office, Chartwells and some 80 community businesses and North Central organizations to promote various ways to stay healthy emotionally, spiritually and physically.

North Central’s Office of Human Resources will host its first Brown Bag learning session of spring term for faculty and staff on Thursday, April 5, in room 10 at the White Activities Center. Two sessions about understanding Blue Cross and Blue Shield services are offered: noon to 12:50 p.m. and 1 to 1:50 p.m. Bring your lunch for one of the sessions and learn about BCBS discounts, reward programs, 24-hour nurse line, viewing claims and more.

The Office of Human Resources will hold its 5th annual FREE Flea Market, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday, Aug. 27, in Old Main room 525. Bring your unused or unwanted office supplies, preferably Thursday, and on Friday pick up any items you can use for your office or department.
