In case you missed them online, the first seven episodes of the 14-part Mission Coffee Can documentary series will be presented during a free screening at 4 p.m. Monday, May 3, at the NCC’s Best store, 100 E. Jefferson Ave. You’ll recall the series chronicles the students’ journey to Guatemala to learn about growing and marketing coffee. Filmmakers Kevin and Patricia Sinnott will be on hand and Matthew Krystal, assistant professor anthropology, will provide commentary and North Central students will share their experiences. Also, NCC’s Best store will open at 3:30 p.m.

View Episode 8 of the Mission Coffee Can series, which features SIFE students preparing for the April 8 regional competition. Congratulations to the team, which qualified for National Competition in Minneapolis, Minn., May 11-13. During the regional competition, the team gave a 24-minute, three-part presentation to a panel of judges consisting of lower to middle management professionals.
