North Central’s Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) team competed at the SIFE USA Regional Competition March 28 in Chicago, one of 12 regional sites. The College's team was named a champion in its league and advances to national competition May 10-12 in Minneapolis.

North Central competed with more than 150 teams at the 2010 SIFE National Championship May 11-13. The College’s team of seven gave a great presentation and earned First Runner Up in League 15, finishing among the top 40 SIFE teams in the nation. Congratulations!

Students In Free Enterprise head to National Competition May 11-13 in Minneapolis. Seven students will give an oral presentation with streaming video as backdrop. The speakers will be Joe Antonacci ’11, Sunny Gill ’10, Kelli Lawrence ’10, Darette Ly ’13, Amanda Marek ’13, Priscilla Martinez ’10 and Peter Zafiropoulous ’11.

For the second time in four years, North Central will send a four-man delegation to the NCAA Division III National Wrestling Championships, the most the Cardinals have ever sent to the event in a single year. While the road to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is a well-worn path for one member of the group, the other three will make their initial trips after traveling very different routes to this point. One of the most decorated wrestlers in North Central’s history, Gabe Youel ’10 (photo) is making his fourth and final appearance
