Students stage parodies of Shakespeare plays, Jan 13-15

Those who appreciate Shakespeare and modern theatre will be intrigued by the student-directed stage presentation of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged),” a show that parodies Shakespeare’s plays into one night of hilarity.

Big city jazz and theatre performance groups this weekend

Two special performance groups, the Chicago Jazz Orchestra and New York City’s Aquila Theater Company, will be featured in campus venues this weekend, Feb. 26 to 28. Chicago Jazz Orchestra is the city’s oldest professional jazz orchestra in continuous operation and will take the Wentz Concert Hall stage at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26.
