North Central wrestlers Cowan Brown ’10 and Nathan Fitzenreider ’13 have been honored by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) for combining academic and athletic success. Both earned the NWCA's Scholar All-America distinction for the season. Men's basketball player Derek Raridon ’13 has been named the NCAA Division III Midwest Region Rookie of the Year by D3hoops.com.

For the second time in four years, North Central will send a four-man delegation to the NCAA Division III National Wrestling Championships, the most the Cardinals have ever sent to the event in a single year. While the road to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is a well-worn path for one member of the group, the other three will make their initial trips after traveling very different routes to this point. One of the most decorated wrestlers in North Central’s history, Gabe Youel ’10 (photo) is making his fourth and final appearance
