Students pursuing degrees in theatre at North Central College have opportunities to gain much more than a typical education in acting, singing and the technical side of a stage career. As a result,  current and former North Central students are making waves in professional theatre.

College reports record enrollment for fifth straight year

The College anticipates 888 new students fall term. Total enrollment is expected to be about 2,900, including about 2,600 undergraduate students.

Sept. 2, 2010—For the fifth straight year, a record number of students will attend North Central College.

The College anticipates 888 new students when fall term classes begin on Monday, Sept. 13. Total enrollment is expected to be about 2,900, including about 2,600 undergraduate students.

About two-thirds of new students are first-year students who graduated high school in 2010, while about 300 are students transferring from other schools. New students are coming to North Central from 17 states and 22 foreign countries.
