MS Word 2013: Level 1

This course covers the basic functions and features of MS Word 2013. You will learn how to enter and edit text, copy and move text and save and browse documents. You will also learn how to enhance the appearance of a document using various formatting options. This course also covers creating tables, inserting headers and footers, and proofing and printing documents. (Fee includes workbook)

MS Word 2013: Level 2

This intermediate course builds on the skills and concepts taught in MS Word 2013: Level 1. You will learn how to perform mail merges, create and use forms, create a document template, and work with sections and columns. This course also covers entering footnotes, generating a bibliography and table of figures, applying themes, and adding graphic elements such as pictures, clip art and SmartArt. (Fee includes workbook.)

MS Word 2013: Level 3

This advanced course builds on the skills and concepts taught in MS Word 2013: Level 2. You will learn how to create a table of contents, insert an index and manage document revisions. You will also learn how to secure document content, customize Word options and create macros for simplifying complex or repetitive tasks. In addition, sharing Word content with other Microsoft Office software and importing data from other Microsoft Office applications will be covered. (Fee includes workbook.)

MS Excel 2013: Basic

This course will teach the basic functions and features of the latest version of MS Excel 2013. After an introduction to spreadsheet terminology and Excel’s window components, you will learn how to navigate in worksheets and workbooks, as well as use templates. You will enter and edit text, values and formulas and explore the AutoFill feature. You will also learn how to move and copy data, define absolute and relative references and work with ranges, rows and columns. This course also covers simple functions, basic formatting techniques, conditional formatting, saving workbooks and printing. Finally, you will create and modify charts and insert pictures and graphics into worksheets. (Fee includes workbook.)

MS Excel 2013: Intermediate

This intermediate course will build on the skills and concepts taught in MS Excel 2013: Basic. You will learn how to manage multiple worksheets and workbooks through formatting and linking them. More advanced formatting options are covered including custom number formatting, themes and merging cells. You will also learn how to create outlines and subtotals, apply cell and range names, add and remove hyperlinks and save workbooks as web pages. Data structure and tables will be explained with sorting and filtering options. This course also covers worksheet auditing and protection, changing application settings and creating templates. This advanced course will build on the skills and concepts taught in MS Excel 2013: Intermediate. You will work with advanced functions and formulas like IF, PMT, and VLOOKUP. In addition, you will learn about data validation and custom AutoFilter and Advanced Filter, PivotTables and PivotCharts, importing and exporting data and querying external databases. Finally, you will learn about advance charting features, analytical features like Goal Seek and Scenarios and running and recording Macros. (Fee includes workbook.)
