Course Description

Math and Art

This fast-paced week will introduce students to the mathematics behind the art of M.C. Escher, learn how to make Escher like drawings by hand and use KaleidoMania to explore the connections between math and art. Learn to use Microsoft Excel to create clock arithmetic tables and then color them to make some very interesting designs. The week will culminate with a PowerPoint art show for parents and friends. Accepting students entering grades 6, 7, or 8 in the fall.
