Before you attend your first class, we want to ensure that you feel welcomed, informed and prepared. Information for Graduate Orientation for fall 2013 will be available in July. You will receive an invitation by mail in early August with all the details. We look forward to meeting you!

GRADUATE STUDENT LIFE

As a North Central College graduate student you are part of a vibrant community offering more than just classes. Take advantage of all North Central has to offer by seeking out these special opportunities on campus:

Our 2012-2013 Fine and Performing Arts season offers a variety of big-name entertainers. With upcoming season highlights such as Dionne Warwick, The Oak Ridge Boys, Bernadette Peters, Branford Marsalis and Five for Fighting, there’s something for everyone.

Your student ID card is your ticket to campus events and college perks. Use your ID card for:

  • Free admission to all North Central student music performances and discounted admission to all student theatre shows.
  • Free admission to Cardinal home sporting events, including our nationally ranked football, track and field and basketball teams.
  • fitness center in the Residence Hall/Recreation Center, which features treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, weights and a walking track.
  • Tax-free purchases at the Rolland Center Boilerhouse Café and The Cage by adding money to your ID card.

Graduate students can also visit the Dyson Wellness Center (located in Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium) for a no-cost appointment to receive consultations, basic tests and procedures, and common prescriptions. Confidential medical services, counseling services, guidance in health choices and educational programming are offered.

As you prepare to hunt for your first or next job, be sure to use the Career Development Center. Whether you need help critiquing your résumé, brushing up on interview skills or finding a job, the Career Development Center is here for you.
