Ryan Jordan earns Outstanding Major in East Asian Studies Award

Ryan Jordan was honored with the 2011 Outstanding Major in East Asian Studies Award during Honors Day May 17 at North Central College.

Jordan began studying at North Central in 2010. He earned a three-year full-tuition scholarship to North Central College after completing an associate degree in East Asian Studies at the College of DuPage. His mother, Colette Jordan, was named the 2010 Outstanding Student at College of DuPage.

Kate Oscarson earns Outstanding Major in Marketing Award

Kate Oscarson was honored with the 2011 Outstanding Major in Marketing Award during Honors Day May 17 at North Central College.

Oscarson is a graduating senior majoring in marketing and has served as co-president of the student-run American Marketing Association chapter at North Central College. She has performed with the College’s Women’s Chorale.

After graduation, Oscarson plans to start work at a luxury resort in North Carolina, where she will coordinate weddings and other events.

Brian Evans earns Outstanding Major in Management Award

Brian Evans was honored with the 2011 Outstanding Major in Management Award during Honors Day May 17 at North Central College.

Evans is a graduating senior double-majoring in management and finance. While a student at North Central, he competed with the men’s basketball team for four years and as a senior was recognized as a CCIW as Player of the Week by the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin.
