Kaylee Oost was honored with the 2011 Outstanding Major in Theatre Award during Honors Day May 17 at North Central College.
Oost is a graduating senior majoring in theatre. She recently interned at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre working on the world premier of a show called “Stage Kiss.” She is a graduate of Plano High School.
At North Central, Oost co-directed a student production of “The Wedding Singer” in spring 2011. As a sophomore in 2009 she stage-managed a production of “The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet.” She has been active in The Company, a campus theater and dance group, and in October 2010 was elected Homecoming Queen.
