Jackie Murawska, North Central College adjunct instructor of mathematics, led a workshop titled “Fractions, Frustration, Ratios, and the Condominium Community Problem” for middle school teachers at the Metropolitan Mathematics Club of Chicago (MMC) Conference of Workshops held in New Lenox, Ill., Jan. 28.
Murawska has been teaching at North Central since 2008. She earned a B.S. from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, an M.S.T. from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and she is an Ed.D. candidate at Northern Illinois University.
