During North Central College’s D-Term—a three-week period between Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas—students who plan to stay on campus or in the Naperville area can participate in a variety of activities. Some activities start as soon as Monday, Nov. 26, and some require advance registration; visit the Harold and Eva White Activities Center (WAC) front desk to learn more and sign up.
Students can choose to participate in any of these activity categories:
• Be a Fan: View Monday Night Football games and enjoy Buffalo Wild Wings in Madden Theatre (sorry, Chicago Bulls game is sold out)
• Be Active: Enjoy ice skating, tubing, intramural volleyball, basketball, dodgeball and more
• Be Entertained: View the latest Batman film; take a Black Heritage Excursion to Chicago; enjoy SNAC, a comedian routine and open mic night at The Union (sorry, Blue Man Group is sold out)
• Be Academic: Register for a class for credit or Verandah experience. Final day to register is Monday, Nov. 19.
• Be Generous: Help with a Little Friends service project
For more information stop by the WAC front desk or contact the Office of Student Involvement at getinvolved@noctrl.edu. Students who plan to reside in a residence hall during D-Term must sign up before Monday, Nov. 26, in order to live on campus.
