Stephen Maynard Caliendo, professor of political science, will give an author talk and sign copies of his new book, “Race Appeal: How Candidates Invoke Race in U.S. Political Campaigns,” at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at Anderson’s Two Doors East, 111 E. Jefferson Ave. He and co-author Charles McIlwain will share their findings and lead a discussion.
