Ramona Wis, Mimi Rolland Professor in the Fine Arts and professor of music, was the Guest Conductor for the Illinois Music Educators Association District I Festival on Nov. 21 at Lincoln-Way West High School in New Lenox, Ill. Wis worked with more than 300 singers during the day in preparation for a public concert held that afternoon, featuring more than 700 students in the district honors ensembles.
