Three great shows this weekend and special pricing

North Central College features three musical performances this weekend as part of its fine and performing arts season—two on Friday, Nov. 2, and one Sunday, Nov. 4—with special offers to faculty, staff and students on two shows.

For faculty, staff and students, the box office is offering a 20 percent discount on its $50, $40 and $10/person tickets to the Chicago Sinfonietta concert, “Dia de los Muertos,” at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, in Wentz Concert Hall. The Sinfonietta performance will be a special event, honoring Harold Wilde for his service as North Central’s president. Read more

The box office also is offering $5/faculty, staff and student to attend the Chicago Chamber Musicians concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, in Wentz Concert Hall. Read more

Also on Friday, Nov. 2, acclaimed North Central College jazz faculty and vibraphonist Brad Stirtz and other members of the College’s jazz faculty will perform at 8 p.m. in Madden Theatre. Tickets are priced as published; $20/adults and $15/students and senior citizens. Read more
