Small class sizes allow for more face time between students and professors, which can greatly influence a student's entire college career. That was certainly the case for Brooke.
"I don't think I would have achieved the success I've had at college without my professor's inspiration. He taught me that in order to understand the way the business world works, I need to understand how the world works." With his encouragement, Brooke took part in a two-week D-Term trip to Turkey and Greece, which led to her studying abroad in Greece an entire term.
"These experiences taught me how to adapt to different environments and to deal with people completely different than me, which is extremely important in management and for my future career," Brooke says.
Landing a summer internship at a Fortune 500 Company, with the help of North Central's Career Development office, was another step in her goal of working in the business world.
