Curt wanted a college that offered flexibility and opportunity. He found both at North Central.
The College’s trimester schedule made possible a yearlong internship at a nearby Fortune 500 company. One of his professors helped secure the internship with a personal recommendation. “Many of the faculty members spend significant time outside of academia which makes them viable resources for career advice and professional development.”
Curt landed a second internship at a prestigious investment firm, which is a recruitment program for the company. His fellow interns hailed from Yale, Princeton, Northwestern and other big universities.
“The internship included networking opportunities, a weekly class to learn about the company and business skills. I helped analyze firms for underwriting their credit agreements and establish these agreements and extensions. I also worked with risk management related to foreign exchange.”
