The Kindling

The Kindling is North Central College’s humor magazine. Once a week students participate in meetings to brainstorm, write articles, and practice their comedic writing in a once-a-term publication. The Kindling itself publishes one issue per term, plus a supplemental issue once a year. Students may also participate in the course to receive a practicum credit, wherein they write several articles and reflect on their own writing skills in a portfolio. The Kindling is open to all who are interested, and meets Tuesdays @ 4:00pm, Goldspohn 22.
