Computer Science Careers

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Spring 2009 Occupational Outlook Quarterly, the technology area is expected to see a job growth of 24% between 2006 and 2016. Careers in technology related jobs continue to rank in top ten best job lists.

What does that mean for our graduates?  It means they find jobs.  As a matter of fact, our graduates find not only jobs, but well-paying jobs as technology jobs continue to pay well above the national average.

At North Central College, our graduates enter the workforce as programmers, database designers, network administrators, and web developers just to name a few.  Our undergraduate curriculum  not only prepares students to enter the technology workforce, but because of the breadth of focus of our curriculum, the required communication support courses, and opportunities such as internships and undergraduate research, our students quckly move into advanced careers in the field.
