Information Session for Master of Professional and Creative Writing

Join the Information Session to:

• Be introduced to the Master of Arts in Professional and Creative Writing program at North Central College and explore your options.
• Gain a better understanding of how the degree fits you and your goals. Learn more about online learning, the curriculum and requirements to graduate.
• Learn about the admission and application process, including financing your education, eligibility for tuition discounts, requirements and steps to apply, and important dates.
• Ask questions and be introduced to the admission staff at the School of Graduate and Professional Studies. When available, faculty and students of the programs contribute to the sessions and answer any questions you may have.
• Prepare to begin coursework starting in January, May, or August of 2021.

The Professional and Creative Writing program focuses on enhancing writing and critical thinking skills both for the workplace and the writer's creative ambitions. Students emerge from the program having cultivated a skill set to:

• publish and publicize their creative work
• excel in grant and proposal writing
• and be clear communicators in corporate, education, and non-profit settings
