Artist Domingo Parada to discuss work during Sept. 26 reception in Oesterle Library Gallery

Artist Domingo Parada will discuss his work during a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, in North Central College’s Oesterle Library Gallery, 320 E. School St.

The public is invited to the free reception, and complimentary refrehments will be served. Parada will give two talks about his work during the reception, one in English at 6:30 p.m. and one in Spanish at 7:30 p.m.

The free exhibit “Domingo Parada: New Work” opened Sept. 16 and continues through Nov. 7 in Oesterle Library Gallery. Parada’s work includes geometric abstract painting and acrylic on paper.

Oesterle Library Gallery is open to the public from 8 a.m. to midnight Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays and noon to midnight Sundays.
