North Central College is setting aside time for the Cardinal community to come together to remember the life of alumnus Shaun Wild ’11.
Students, alumni, faculty, staff and other members of the Cardinal family may stop by Koten Chapel at Kiekhofer Hall, 329 E. School St., from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4. Office of Ministry and Service staff and others will be present.
Though there will be no formal program, attendees are welcome to stop by in remembrance of Wild, who died following a violent incident in downtown Naperville on Feb. 4, 2012.
Wild was a 2011 graduate who majored in elementary education with minors in history and social studies. He was president of the Student Leaders Association of Teacher Educators, a member of the student-athlete honor society and football team. After graduation he taught second grade at Spring Brook Elementary School in Naperville.
The College established the Shaun Wild Memorial Fund in his honor.
