Timothy Morris, North Central College professor of philosophy, gave a presentation, titled “The Ethics and Politics of New Reproductive Technologies,” at the monthly meeting of the Humanists of West Suburban Chicagoland held at Naperville’s DuPage Unitarian Universalist Church on Feb. 13. He discussed issues related to in vitro fertilization, surrogate pregnancies, cloning and various attempts at trying to create “the perfect baby.”

Morris joined North Central’s faculty in 1978. He earned his B.A. from the University of Iowa and his A.M. and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.
